Page Load Time to Affect Google Quality Score

As many savvy online marketers know, Google’s Quality Score can be a major factor in the effectiveness and overall cost of a PPC campaign.

Many factors go into the evaluation of the Quality Score - including the keyword, the ad text, the landing page, and other factors.

A recent post on Webmasterworld noted that Google may also soon also be factoring in the landing page load time into the Quality Score.

According to Google’s documentation, the landing page will be graded by Google, and then “Several weeks after your load time grade becomes visible, it will begin to impact your landing page quality and, therefore, your Quality Score”.

Although as of this morning, there is no grade visibile in NLC’s AdWords accounts, the following screenshot was taken, and seems to corroborate this story - landing page load time appears to be coming to a Quality Score near your campaign.

I don’t think page load affects anything about google quality score…if there’s any, for sure its just a low percentage…
