OK, I’m freshly home from SES Toronto 2007, and the NLC team had a great time! I thought we’d very quickly cover some of the lighter, or at least more interesting, highlights this year…

Top 10 Fun Things I Learned at SES Toronto

10. Speaking at SES is a lot of fun

9. Rand Fishkin is a really nice guy

8. The term “purple cow” can mean different things to different people

7. If you bring your camera, remember to use it (doh!)

6. People are fairly willing to be interviewed at SES

5. Why am I not podcasting yet?

4. French sites are easier to spam (though we still don’t recommend that you do so)

3. A British accent really does make you sound more intelligent

2. Women can do more than pop out babies and bake muffins

And last but not least…

1. Very few people have their brand tattooed on their butt

Great list Helen, your presentation on how to leverage LinkedIn for building business was one of the few “Wow, this is new and totally blew my socks off” presentations I saw at SES this year, and I don’t think I’m the only one who feels that way! :)
