Calling all ‘old-school’ marketers!
You know who you are - you love those ‘tried and true’ mediums like radio, newspaper, etc.; you shy away from the new and emerging medias (podcasts, myspace and youtube, oh my!).
It’s not as if you’re completely averse to the Internet and new media - you’re reading this blog, aren’t you? You’re just not completely convinced of the merit of investing a good chunk of your limited marketing dollars into online media. You’ve heard about search engine marketing, you see the value in coming up at the top of the listings, but you’re not exactly sure how it works or what the real ‘bottom line’ value is.
Well, induldge us for a minute. I know blogs are supposed to be ‘above’ this, but here’s some blatant self promotion for you…
We have an SEM event this month in the Toronto area, exploring the ‘business case’ for search marketing. You’ll get a bit of intro to the space, explore some case studies that point to the effectiveness of this media, and learn why it should be added to your marketing mix.
View the event registration here: http://www.nonlinear.ca/events/search-marketing_1806.htm. But certainly no pressure…this IS a blog after all. ![]()
