 Shannon Ryan

 

Shannon Ryan

CEO, non-linear creations inc.

Shannon Ryan is the CEO of non-linear creations and was one its co-founders in 1995. As CEO, Shannon is responsible for the overall leadership, vision and execution of the strategic roadmap of the company, including the company’s current expansion in Brazil.  For over 15 years, he has guided many of Nonlinear’s large, mission critical solutions for some of North Americas largest organizations including: Rogers, ADP, Dow Jones, CP Rail, and many others.   Shannon is a much sought-after speaker and commentator on topics ranging from the future of the internet,  to the use of collaboration and communities within the enterprise. He has recently spoken at Gilbane, Enterprise 2.0, and the Microsoft Canadian Leadership Summit.  

In parallel to his tenure at Nonlinear, Shannon co-founded Buystream Inc. in 1999, a reporting and analytics company, successfully spearheading a $30 million VC investment.  That company was purchased by Watchfire (now IBM).   Prior  to non-linear creations, he was a consultant in the oil and gas field for Resources Engineering Systems (Cambridge, MA) and worked extensively in Russia and Europe.

Shannon completed his undergraduate degree in Soviet and Eastern European Studies from Carleton University and has his Masters from the University of Vienna.   He speaks fluent Russian, passible German and restaurant quality French.  He is married, with one son, and lives in Toronto.

Randy is the President and co-founder of Non-linear creations where he has led strategic engagements with key clients since 1995. He holds key responsibilities such as setting corporate strategy and defining new areas of practice. He has over a decade of leadership experience in the development of corporate web strategies and implementation plans worldwide, applying a combination of business acumen, technical knowledge, and marketing insight to the challenges faced by his clients. Randy’s professional experience includes the position of CEO at Buystream, where he managed the sale of the company’s technology assets and the rebirth of the core company as Western Energy. He has spoken at important industry events including the Glibane content management show. Randy holds a Masters of Arts in Canadian Studies from Carleton University and is the recipient of 23 scholarships and awards, including the Senate Medal for Academic Achievement.

As President of Nonlinear Enterprise, Daniel and his team specialize in the sort of business consulting and technical planning that’s required to not only deploy and integrate class-leading tools but also to ensure adoption and drive real business value from the investment, whether using cloud or on-premise solutions.

Since joining non-linear creations in 1997, Daniel Roberge has provided a high-level of technical expertise to his previous position of Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to Non-linear creations' co-owners, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company, including participation in Nonlinear's strategic direction, Human Resources, Partnerships, IT and facilities management. Before coming to Nonlinear in 1998, Daniel worked for the National Capital Commission and was instrumentatl in crafting the NCC’s initial Internet Strategy.  During his early years at Nonlinear, Daniel worked with leading high-tech companies like Nortel, NetManage and JDS Uniphase in defining and delivering web-related initiatives.

Allison Simpkins 

 

Allison Simpkins

President, Nonlinear Digital

As President of Nonlinear Digital Allison and her team help clients understand not just how to create meaningful experiences for their customers and visitors online, but also how to glean insights from analytics to drive truly engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns. For more than 14 years, Allison has been instrumental in driving organizational and operational change focusing on the client experience at Non-linear creations. With a passion for delivery excellence and client satisfaction, Allison was responsible for building Nonlinear's Project Management Office in 2006, and spearheading an Account Management initiative in 2010. Her business acumen has shaped Nonlinear's approach to both project and client engagement, and driven millions in revenue. She holds authority to make a broad range of decisions on behalf of the company and reports directly to the firm’s co-founders.

Christian Schneider 

 

Christian Schneider

Vice President, Sales, non-linear creations inc.

Christian Schneider has held the position of Vice President, Sales at Non-linear creations since 2009. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. In his professional life, Christian worked at ABN AMRO Bank as a Senior Vice President where he established and directed a team of relationship managers to lead corporate b2b e-commerce initiatives, the Senior Manager of Strategy/Supply Chain at Accenture where he spearheaded business and product development as a member of the Financial Services Executive Team, Business Productivity Advisor and Enterprise Solution Sales Executive (SSP-WI) at Microsoft overseeing Information Worker Product sales for a “Global 50” Microsoft account, and Chief Operating Officer/Vice President of Sales at Infusion Development building new operational capabilities for a 240 person systems integration and developments firm.

Alison Davies

Vice President, Account Management, non-linear creations inc.

Alison Davies joined Non-linear creations in 2010 as the Vice President of Account Management for the Eastern and Central region.   In 2012 she assumed responsibility for Client Accounts across all regions.  Alison brings over 10 years of account management experience gained through tenures with both interactive development shops and Deloitte LLP.  Among her diverse client base, Alison has had the pleasure of working with organizations across a variety of industries including Healthcare, Financial Services, Non-profit, Pharmaceutical and Consumer Packaged Goods. Alison and her team,  provide strategic account leadership to existing Nonlinear clients, striving to achieve client satisfaction with integrity and hands-on relationship management.    

Glen Mcinnis 

 

Glen Mcinnis

Vice President, Delivery, non-linear creations inc.

Glen Mcinnis has been the Vice President of Delivery at Non-linear creations since 2006. He has both strategic and tactical experience with leading CMS vendors including SiteCore, Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe CQ5, Ektron and OpenText/RedDot and has won the SiteCore MVP award. Glen has oversees a team responsible for more than 120 content management deployments and complements this real-world experience with substantive formal education including a Master of Science degree in Technology Innovation Management. Recently, at conferences and symposia, Glen has presented his thoughts on A Service Oriented Architecture for Creating Customized Learning Content Management Solutions (Montreal Symposium on the Semantic Web), Open Source Learning and Content Management Systems (UNESCO Forum), Advantages and Limitations of Open Source Content Management at the International Association for Management Technology (Conference on Knowledge Management), Top Lessons in Content Management (Gilbane Boston), and Mobile Engagement (Gilbane Boston).

Amanda Shiga 

 

Amanda Shiga

Vice President, Nonlinear Digital

Amanda is VP, Nonlinear Digital, and has been part of the non-linear team since 2006. She brings more than 12 years’ experience in designing and building effective content management and web-based solutions within a variety of industries. With a strategic focus on data-driven customer insight, Amanda leads the non-linear digital team in delivering cross-channel digital marketing solutions and contributes significantly to business development and thought leadership. Amanda is designated as a Sitecore MVP, an award that recognizes exceptional technical community leaders from around the world. She has spoken at the Sitecore Symposium in both 2011 and 2012 and sits on the Advisory Board for the Toronto Sitecore User Group. Amanda holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and M.A.Sc. in Technology Innovation Management.

Molly Anglin

With over 16 years of web agency experience, Molly Anglin shares the responsibility in leading digital delivery. Joining Non-linear creations in 2003, Molly went on to found and develop a strategic services area of practice: specializing in business strategy for the web, user experience design, content strategy, graphic design, web analytics and online marketing. Molly’s consulting experience encompasses a range of sectors including government, non-profit, consumer packed goods, technology, finance and manufacturing. Molly possesses a BCom in marketing and a minor in art history from McGill University.

Shawn Crabtree 

 

Shawn Crabtree

Director, Nonlinear Enterprise

Shawn joined Non-linear creations in September 2012 as Director of the Intranets and Business Productivity Division. Bringing over 30 years of experience in the strategic use and deployment of advanced technology, he leads a team of technology and strategy innovators in building modern enterprise tools that provide real business value to clients. His professional range of expertise includes business and technical proficiency in the areas of Collaboration and Community based Applications, Agile Application Development and Infrastructure and Managed Services deployments.

Prior to joining Nonlinear Shawn held a number of senior positions, including CTO of a large Canadian IT Professional Services organization; and Vice President, of Professional Services for a major wireless product company. In each of these organizations, he worked directly with senior management to help identify their unique business challenges, and architect and deploy innovative, cost-effective solutions to a multitude of industries.
